Vegetarian Chili Fries

It’s Fall, it’s Friday night and you want something hearty for dinner. Well we are here to help! While trying to figure out what to do with some leftover Vegan chili I made, an idea pop in my head to make chili fries.  My family really enjoy these so I make them as often as they allow me to. Give this recipe a try and let us know what you think.  As always make whatever changes needed to make this a go to dish in your home.

Vegetarian Chili Fries
No meat, no dairy chili fries.

  1. Preheat oven to 400 Place French fries on a baking sheet Bake French fries to 18 minutes or until golden brown Heat grape seed oil in a pot and saute chopped onion, green pepper on medium heat Add sea salt
  2. Add chili powder, water and stir
  3. Add chili beans, refried beans and stir
  4. Add pulsed garbanzo beans and stir. Allow to cook on simmer for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally
  5. After fries are done place them on a plate and top with chili and chopped green onions

Serve this dish with your favorite dipping sauces and enjoy! You can also  top the chili with some rinsed chopped broccoli,  I have a few times.
